Yeah that's Williams Brothers out of Houston that's got the project. They do own quite a few Americans, they also did an extension of 161 from 183 to I30.

*drool* The 5299 is a strong 50 ton machine. That crane is very popular with foundation pile companies in Virginia and Carolina area. You don't see to many 9270's....that's a great find in it self.

Thanks guys there were so much more of these cranes in the area they are just hard to get pics of. The Cops were out yesterday directing traffic because they were shutting down the roads when they were lifting the beams. Here is a short video I took vidI bet Shawn has many more pics of some of these cranes. I wish I lived as close as he does. Jeff I hope William Brother got the contract for all of this lifting work because there will be a lot of lifts at 161 and I-30 and 161 and I-20 for all of the over passes they are putting in for the toll road. I am hoping they need to use alot of these large Americans and Maxim has to bring one of these 2 big cranes down this direction more. Eef I thought you might like this post Jason NIkl Scale Models

Jason, Prairie-Link Construction Co. has the extension from I-30 to I-20. They purchased the 777 & 14000 from us for the heavy lifts, but you never know they may need a larger crane at some point to assist in the beam placements. Keep your camera with you buddy!

Jusin Spent a few months working next to a sheet pile crew. They ran a 5299 which was a beast of a crane. They also ran a 9270, that rig was certainly a horse too.
