Well it's that time of year again when spontaneous combustion starts hay fires. Last Monday smoke could be seen for miles as over 70 tons of hay and a semi trailer nearby went up in flames. 3 different cities responded to the blaze as well as 4 different departments from our city. 3 tanker trucks arrived on scene, as well as 4 engines, 1 truck, 1 rehab van, 2 batallion trucks, and even a backhoe. Here are just a few of the many pictures I took.

Nice pics there Oakland!!

Always love seeing the brothers out for a play with their toys!!

Glad it wasn't too bad like a good old fashion barn fire, been to a few and done them.

We here in Florida have been having a lot of brush fires. It is hard to believe that a simple discarded glass bottle can start a fire in the grass with the sun.

Be careful also as today is 4 July 11 and fireworks time!!

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!
