I need help with taking off the following, Warning lights The sky lights The light in front of the warning lights the mirrors The thing on the back of the cab and the grill Here are the pictures of the model. could you guys tell what the best way is to take them off? I have second glue for the plastics parts.

Well going by some comments made in another post regarding the quality of WSI models, on this forum, and going by my own experience, you don`t have too much to worry about, bits tend to just fall off WSI models anyway. Ray...

WSI models are a real pain to take apart. All these parts are glued on the model. You will probably find a small hole behind every of them.Try and get acess from the inside of the cab.Take a very small screwdriver and try to push them out. Do not try and pull from the outside. This is how I did on my WSI repaints.
Maybe acetone would be a solution to get the parts off.But I don´t know wether it will react with the plastic parts, too.

Jan Acetone will eat most plastic parts, though maybe CA Debonder would be a better option: Zap Debonder Eric W. Pioszak, Operating Engineers Local 701, Portland, OregonMETAL TRACKS AVAILABLE AGAIN! Cab guards Available again! Grapples Available again! Industrialscalemodels[at symbol]Gmail.com

I will start saying i have not tried myself but in another forum, for 1/64 trucks, people were repainting DCP transtars, and getting parts off was a pain ......The soultion putting them in the freezer and then pulling them out and letting the contractiing and expanding break the glue loose. Just an idea i have heard of, Chris
