No difference in the model its self.... But the "Modern" version has the cab roofs painted in White, decals are different and so on...

Hi Rowan,I read on MCW I think that WSI had hurridly removed all the model news that was posted,which included the R9100,there was no official reason I don't think,just that perhaps WSI had miss posted news of models being released,not specifically made by themselves,

I had a feeling NZG would originally do the R9100,my heart sank when I heard that it was in the WSI model news but I have been given some hope now by the fact it may not be done by WSI,sorry but I just feel NZG can easily perfect a model when it comes to Liebherr excavators,they can pull off high detail with robustness,quality and finish.

I agree 100%. He does a great job and these Gottwalds are great to see. Of course they are expensive but they are also very detailed and no-one else is making anything like this. Personally I'd like to have the Riga and Long Hook versions but can't see me getting both due to the cost.

I agree with Paul R,YCC make brilliant models and these Gottwalds will be great models,tooooo pricey for me though,maybe in 3-4 years time WHEN they haven't soldout I might think about it,most versions are going to be available for quite awhile,especially the modern riga version(350 comeon,too many)BUT the 1 thing I will get is the AC500 heavy jib tip,I was going to finally put my mammoet 500 together and Chou releases this out of the blue,damit now I'll have to wait till Christmas,OH s^#t hangon only just announced, maybe next year sometime before I put it together.
I think YCC would have been better off following through with the LR1550,that is 1 model that will sell out fast,not like the Gottwalds but this is only my opinion(some others might think the same I'm sure),the sarens 1800 took a few years AND the WSI PTC,one wonders,I know some have said they will buy the Gottwalds but afew is far from what is the total number about 700 models it will be interesting to see how they go.

Seems YCC have been listening and have re-adjusted the quantities. Delivery dates also adjusted due to Chinese New Year:

Riga Mainz historical version: 90 models due Jan/Feb 2012.

Riga Mainz modern version: 200 models same delivery date as above.

Breuer version: 200 models same delivery as above.

Long Hook: 80 models and same delivery.

Chi Sun: 30 models and same delivery.

It really don't make sense Graham, same story with the luffer for the ltm1300. The model and all that jib for 205 and then its 170 for the luffing connection and a few pendants

Wow ! Expensive is an under statement.

Take a deep breath, here are the prices:

LTM 1800: €680

Luffing jib: €415

Derrick mast: €289

Total is €1384!!

But I've yet to see a picture of a Thomen LTM1800 with a Derrick. I also wonder if the LG boom will be released at a later date??

It is a nice one for sure and I think hugely anticipated. From what I've read, I think thinks this is the only LTM/LG still working in Germany?

I'm hoping the LG boom also comes out to complete the set
