Ive been planning a new boat build,in doing that I need certain electrical items to preform certain task ..I ran across these schematics in the process.

Not to leave a guy hanging .a handy application to figure out resistor's and regulators: Electronics assistant.

Most of these circuits ..basic components can be had from scrap electronic gear left for dead in the garage.However please be mindful that the gear from the 70's and 80's offer better parts selection and no surface mount stuff like today's gear. .
the 555 timers,and other small chips can be had up to ten each for less than $10 on E-Bay..

All a guy needs is a solder and a little patience to get things going..
