Wow, the detail is outstanding - this trumps the WSI ZX870, even though it's a different scale.
Just beautiful...

Gee those look good. Also appears that the 390D now has the all black cab, even if it's a photoshop. I really can't wait for these to be delivered. PS. All this detail for $250, what a great deal! PPS, Again, absolutely nitpicking now but for pure perfection, they might still want to look at the coloring of the boom cylinder hose mounts and hoses Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

Looks great! I would have to say CCM is under pricing their selves on this one.. The customers and collector will be getting a excellent deal for all the model you get. Thanks CCM!

Diecast-modeling at its best !!! Who would have thought it was possible to make the Hitachi ZX870 look "not sooooooo good"

Check CCM blog for latest updates and changes to these models. You wanted bolts on the drive sprockets, you got 'em!
Also, all three of the D9H models have now begun final assembly. I think they got underway this week or late last week. From what I understand, all parts have been painted and approved. No finished pieces yet to look at for final assembly quality checks.

I missed the pre-order stage for the D9H. I understand they've been spoken for/ sold out for a long time now. Where would be a good place to look to get one besides ebay when they do come out? Anybody know of a dealer with leftovers or cancelled orders?

Thanks for the update Ecotitan. Can you confirm if the cab lights and boom hose supports will be looked at or are the models too far into development? As I have said many times previously, I've waited for this series of models for close to a decade. Thanks for doing them so much justice, the level of detail is incredible. Rowan, I don't think it's too far into development, as their latest blog post reveals new changes and the last line "As always, feel free to contact us with any concerns regarding these models." 385 Changes

Can someone tell me what the difference between the 385 and 390? Is it just the ME part?
Thanks,

I know I sound like a CAT / CCM flag waver every time I post but I'm so passionate about this machine / model it's probably beyond reason. PS, I did have a typed up thing for CCM but I'm hoping it will be seen through here, Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

I don't wanna come across as steeling the jam from anyones donut here but I feel the bolt heads on the drive sprocket were always on the cards, they have bolt heads in the track pads,I think these were and are still pre production samples and will still be changed,I just cannot see CCM who are commissioned to make high detailed cat models cutting corners, These to me are some of the most highly anticipated models too,I cursed Norscot for making their 385 in 1/64 so I'm over the moon with these and so thankfull CCM got the nod,I too have the 3 on order and I await with open arms
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"? ... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Thanks,
Paul R Its pretty much just the ME stick/bucket and the all black cab. Yep the 385CL machine ended it's life at some stage in early 2011 and became the 390D with a heap of upgrades. Simple as that. EDIT: I still think the 385 should be available without a rock guard. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator
