Just wanted to share some photos of the Hitachi Starfish progress. I have been working on this model on and off since December. It is now almost complete.

Here's how the model looked in December:




And here is how the model sits now. Almost complete, just need to add the lift cylinders, some trim pieces, life rings and a few other details:

Thanks for the compliments! The model is built in a way so that it would lower, but I have it locked into the upright position now. Here is a picture of it while it was lowered:
