The State of Rhode Island is installing a small wind turbine at Fisherman's Memorial State Park in Point Judith, R.I. The turbine will supply about one half of the power needed to run the facility. The crew was bolting the rotor blades to the hub in preparation for making the lift. I stayed for awhile but, then a decision was made not to lift due to windy conditions. Here are some pics.
