Below are some pictures i found of this amazing machine. It is 25 stories high Never saw anything like it before. It is like a huge claw that lifts up sunken oil rigs. Has a lift capacity of 10,000 tons Enjoy the pics.

Looks lke something that needs to be brought to the Gulf of Mexico!!

Maybe BP can pay for it to clean up the place where the Deep Water Horizon is left.

Thanks for the pics Ben, that's an interesting piece of equipment!!

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Not the "Bottom Feeder" It's the VB-10000. Double the capacity of the Bottom Feeder.

Looks like something Kiewit would be involved in, does Versabar have any affiliation with them?

Thanks,
Mike

You Tube has at least a couple dozen on it...... Type in Versabar VB 10000.
Lots of videos of it being erected using spectacular mutiple heavy cranes lifts and SPMT's doing 3,000 plus ton roll ups at the Gulf Marine fabrication yard. CC-2800's, Manitowoc 18000, etc....
And videos of the VB-10000 on several jobs in the Gulf. You can also go to Versabar.com and check out the video library.
I also have lots of original footage of the building of of it and its jobs in my collection.
