After looking at the pictures of the modified D11Rs they use at Yallourn's open pit I figured I had to build one. I didn't take many pictures of the build process this time so I'll post a few of the pictures that inspired this model as well as a few of the finished model itself. A few pictures of the real machines from around the net and a friendly DHS Member: And a few of the model which has a hand built blade, 5 shank ripper with counterweight, hand rails, platforms, lights, hydraulic cylinder guards, hydraulic hoses, fire suppression tank, wash down hose reel, new fuel cap and hydraulic cap, all of which have been made from brass. Hope you enjoy.

But I am convinced there are many more very talented custom builders around who might be a bit "shy" to show their models because of all the B/S going around... I just hope there would be more nice customs like this one shown.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Mitchtim that would be interesting to see all my customs together however they all get sold. The only custom pieces I have for myself are all half finished and get pushed behind other projects that I'm working on for others. I think I know of 1 guy who might have 1 of each different one. Next time I'm at his house I'll see if I can get some family pictures.
