Here something Manitowocs you don't see everyday. Found these online. Even a m250 mounted on a pedestal on a barge.











1967 Manitowoc 4000 with elevated cab
4100 elevated cab
2250 truck

Those are great pics. Particularly the big 4100 on the barge with the over sized cab . Wonder what it's used for ? The 2250 truck is pretty neat,especially the elevated cab,clearly a crane boom used to elevate it.

If you look at the blue and white crane on barge close it actually is a 4600. You can tell by the gantry plus the cab design is way different then a 4100. Most 4600 were used in strip minning

My vision is kaput,even with the large computer screen.Yup, your right, dunno what I was thinking. Meant to type 4600....what I typed came out 4100. Brain malfunction of some sort.

Still a neat crane.

The last two photos are Manitowoc cranes used in slag pit operations,skull breakers. Great pics.
