My girl friend has never been to London so we decided to go sightseeing yesterday and I thought I could see a sight of my own while we were there Smiley

Excellent photos! Shame about the circumstances surrounding this but it is nice to see the TC2800 fully rigged. Did you see Gaz?

Thanks Paul
It is indeed very sad, a very horrible accident
And I didn't see Gaz no, there wasn't very many people around, just the driver and a few of the tower crane crew

Saw Baldwins Liebherr LTM1500 yesterday but have been busy and have only just had chance to upload the pictures...

It was lifting bridge beams, small ones weighing 9t and the larger end beams being 14t

Further back in this thread I posted pictures of Ainscough's CC2800 and LTM11000DS in Nuneaton on a rail project, at the weekend I was over that way and decided to go and have a wander round since the project was finished and thought I'd share a few photo's

The bridge the LTM lifted in

Where the CC lifted out

The old site compound

The ramp from the compound to the railway line

And how much would those mats cost Gaz, I'm surprised they were just left behind like that...

Today I went down and saw Ainscough's LTM1250 on full fly jib in the city centre,
It turned out to be a pretty good day, got a sit in the crane, had a brew with the guys whilst they were rigging and then spent a couple hours chatting to the driver, I also got given a couple of liebherr t-shirts Teeth

Enjoy the pictures

The new ainscough vans

Commhoists LTM1055 was around the other side on full fly

Thanks Paul,
the computer system was reading 69m radius, all boom sections out 100% with full fly, pretty impressive Smile and it was capable of 1.9t at that radius
