I'm new this forum and new to crane collection.

I've collected my first two this year - NZG LR 1300 w/ derrick and a Conrad LR 1750 (in Felbermayr livery).

I've managed to assembler both models and first thing I would like to do is replace the plastic pulleys. Too many bad experiences with attempting to reeve the ropes only to have the rope roll off of the pulley. It is my understanding that brass pulleys are the way to go. Would like to replace the plastic pendants also but that can be for a later task.

I've seen versions from YCC (13mm) and I've heard of a kit from Tim Clamp - sent him an e-mail but haven't heard back from him (timclamp@aol.com). From what I've read Tim's kit is the way to go, I just don't know the cost compared to YCC. Is there anyone else that sells replacement pulleys?

Hobie,

I have been having email issues and hopefully over the weekend I will be able to find your email and reply. I have LR 1750 kits available.
