The Intermat trade show opened its doors this morning and, after walking the halls for a number of hours, there were not that many new models on display, although i have not really looked around too much today.

I had some interesting meetings with representatives from the Wirtgen group and the new Kleemann crusher model has been delivered in a batch of 80 pieces specially for Intermat and produced by Conrad. Detail levels are good with a detachable final screen box, return conveyor which can also be rotated and a natural fines conveyor which can be mounted to either side of the unit.

Two new models were shown on the Bomag stand (tracked paver and trench compactor)

Hitachi had the new ZX210-5 which is a very nicely detailed model with an opening cab door, replicated engine bay with opening cover, metal tracks and many fine details including armoured hoses.

The only new model from Komatsu was the D155AX bulldozer. There was nothing new from Case or Liebherr which is a little disappointing.

Wacker Neuson had nothing new but their marketing representative informed of a number of new models for release towards the end of the year and for Bauma next year (Covering machines from Wacker Neuson, Kramer Allrad and Weidermann)

Did not have time for photo taking today, but will look to upload pictures to my facebook page tomorrow.

Steven
