1. Hello fellow modellers, I’d like to share with you, my first attempt at painting models, I completely stripped the D575A-3 SD
version, then repainted it, added new Decals, covered the screws with Brass Shim plates I cut with a hole punch, and used a
mobile phone stylus chrome pointer as the Hydraulic Cylinder rod. I also added new Hydraulic hoses and left a chain on the
counter weight.
2. The Komatsu D575A-2 SR I just painted the tracks with a matching yellow, added new decals and covered the screws as
above.
3. The White Komatsu D575A-2 SR in Coal & Allied Operations Pty Ltd version, again, I just painted the tracks in matching
white, covered the screws and added new decals.I hope you enjoy the photos:

Wow! What a huge improvement over the factory versions. Excellent job, and hopefully you get your account activated again soon.

Peter,

Your repaint looks awesome and far better than the original HiMoBo version. I could never understand why they had black tracks and not yellow. I maybe need to send mine over to you for a dulux rebuild Smile Congratulations!

1. Excellent looking dozers.....great work!

2. Chuck get Peter's account up and going again.Think

3. Though I've heard it's quite unlikely, I'd love to see the 575 made again by First Gear.
.......the three variants that HiMoBo did would be great!

As I mentioned in the email to Peter, this is the way they should have left the factory in the first place! Great job!
