Very nice machines! What manufacturer is the red truck second from the bottom? Looks like it would be one heck of a powerplant under all that nose. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

RowanH, It appears to have a "Diamond T" emblem on the hood. Randy M. Smolenack RMSmodels@aol.comrandy.m.smolenack@us.army.mil

The red truck in the picture is a 1954 Diamond T. These trucks were mfg. in Chicao, Il. for many years. They were bought out by White Motor Truck and combined with Reo Motor Trucks and a brand of trucks was mfg. under the name Diamond Reo.

The Diamond Reo production moved to the REO facilities in Michigan when White consolidated the two. When White went under, the designs were purchased by Osterlund, a Diamond Reo dealer in Pennsylvania. They built them for a number of years. Had a dealer that sold a number of them in the DC area during that period as well as Marmons to the owner operator dump truck market.

That is indeed a White 3000 with a Hopto on it - quite a unique piece. Always thought the 3000 was a great 1950's design - the curved tilt cab was quite creative for the time period.
