Hi guys is been a long time since i updated this tread and today i got informed that there will be a heavy lift comp. at the refinery so i went to see it my self and yes wagenborg nedlift will be in the plant for a couple of months doing some heavy and light loads as i was told that its the news. But lets start with some of the equipment that is ready to go.

Todano crane.





Yes looks llike a lr is coming to make the lifts.

Ay carramba!

Very nice refinery; it's one of the most detailed on-going construction project in 1:50 scale I've seen. Now you'll need to add some tracks and locos + tanks cars in O scale....

Thanks guys for the replys this will be kind of slow as i am working on some details on the lr 1750 that you guys will notice like walkways, handrails,hidc. Hoses and more. Hope you enjoy the process as i do. This forum needs more a little more fun like it used to be. Come on guys modellers share your projects with us. My 2 pesos.

And the lift is 95 tons.




Freely suspended ready for its final position.




After 1:30 minutes its there. And the vessel was tested before setting it in.



That was a nice lift. Here is a pic of the block as requested. i did customized for this project.

I just watched the slo-mo video and it is nicely done. But I do have one question - why have you used the drum on the main boom for the main hook? Normally those two drums are used for the luffing jib and/or the whip line.

Paul the reason i used that winch is because is way much easier to use to make the video. I know that those are for the luffer and wip line.hope to not confuse nobody.
