Ha,ha!, oh Jack, I must confess the thought that it was a real crane went through my mind but I thought I'd cling to the hope it is a model But the plot seems to thicken because of what Jason says

Jack my first thoughts is that it looks a bit odd..she sits very low with tracks that are overly wide or are adjustable in width and the ballast is slung very low also.maybe thats a clue for what lifting shes optomized for.. Aubrey. http://www.Flickr.com/Photos/METALMODELS!/ MY MODEL PHOTOS..

Some of the best photos I've seen posted here this year. Very, VERY impressive! I've heard a Liebherr crawler scale model was coming a while back. Fingers crossed. Rowan. 1:25th scale CAT 375L excavator

I'm going to agree with Brandon, there's definitely a scale model on that platform!
That LTR-1220 is neat... That'll be one heck of a versatile machine. Here in the Northeast you rarely have a job with "enough room" and just moving big cranes around can be a major planning issue. Being able to walk a 220 tonner under or, potentially, over an existing bridge with no difficulty is game-changing.
The fundamental aim....is to do everything that is attempted in a first-class way." -Pierre S. Dupont
