Here is a model of a Miller welder that I built:
List of plastic materials,

3/8x3/8 square tubing 15/16 long
1/4x3/8 rectangular tubing 15/16 long
3/16 square tubing
3/16x3/8 I-beam
0.020" sheet

Add a few small pieces of plastic for the controls and exhaust.

Here's one of two I made fairly recently. As RICRANEMAN has already shown how to build them above, like his better than mine. It doesn't take long and there pretty easy to build. Dain555 , built his recently also, maybe he'll share his too.

Thanks Pat, yes I built mine too out of styrene and a piece of brass tube. The following is a picture of the one I made. I have since changed the control panel to a black one that I had a picture of. I used the picture of the control panel shrunk down on my printer to fit.

My Miller Welder,

It's hard sometimes to give out sizes because it is what ever size you want to make it as the welders themselves have different sizes. I basically use a model railroader's ruler with the "O" scale rule (1:48 scale) for builds as it is as close as you can get without making your own scale ruler!!!

Sorry for the picture, I'll get more updated ones this weekend showing the new control panel. I think the new panel I put on makes it look better!!!

Dain

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!
