In concert with the introduction of Liebherr's newest crane, WSI has released a diecast model of it. Unfortunately for most collectors here, it's in 1/87 scale Sad

I say we boycott the 1/87 so they will hopefully let it die off.

That's a real let down, but yes boycotting 1:87th sounds like a great idea!

I won a 1/87 Sarens MAN 8x4 with lowloader for taking part in their online survey and to be honest the quality of the model surprised me but I'm afraid the scale is not for me.

There's just one thing that kinda ruins the LTM 1750 for me and that's the single wheel/axle. It just looks out of place in my eyes Confused

It's still an impressive crane though.

I'm definitely looking forward to this one. Although, the boycotting the 1:87th version actually sounds pretty dumb. You don't see the logic flaws in this plan?

I know it was tongue in cheek re the boycotting 1/87, but I have a lot of 1/87 that has better detail than a lot of the 1/50 stuff..only thing is getting over the plastic stuff but again a great deal of 1/50 is plastic now also.
