I say we boycott the 1/87 so they will hopefully let it die off.

That's a real let down, but yes boycotting 1:87th sounds like a great idea!

I won a 1/87 Sarens MAN 8x4 with lowloader for taking part in their online survey and to be honest the quality of the model surprised me but I'm afraid the scale is not for me. There's just one thing that kinda ruins the LTM 1750 for me and that's the single wheel/axle. It just looks out of place in my eyes It's still an impressive crane though.

I know it was tongue in cheek re the boycotting 1/87, but I have a lot of 1/87 that has better detail than a lot of the 1/50 stuff..only thing is getting over the plastic stuff but again a great deal of 1/50 is plastic now also.
