Looking at models does me no good,a model that works on the other hand is far better.
Lately ,I've been experimenting with the idea of making a working Delmag pile hammer. Yeah,this is going to be tough. So far working on the mechanics of the hammer,experimenting with low voltage electronic club that plugs into the sliding locks .Turn on the current,the lock engages,turn it off,the spring takes over pushing the shaft forward. That's the key for this build,if I can master the mechanics and fit into a tube, I'm set.
Then figure out how to make it relay back & forth on it's own, to drive piles in.
Should have sometime if a couple of days,weeks,months or years. Nothing is impossible.
