What do you have planned for the GMK7450? I also did the same, stripped it down and then took me forever to get around to painting it, but the end result turned out okay.

Paul R I planned to paint it in the danish crane company BMS livery Something like this:  They also do have one gmk 7450, but thats in yellow, they got it from another company they bought, and never repainted it Pic...i planned  , lets see when i can put myself togheter to paint it

Holy...!!! 8 years ago i updated this, i guess its on time with some new contents Well, story with this new crane i got, is that i really really wanted it since the age of 12, i had these technical datasheets of the crane, and i was like wooaaaaa! So when i finished education as electrician not long ago, i thought i was gonna buy it from the first salary i got as fully educated....well, i waited untill christmas instead and got it for myself as present So here is my new Gottwald AMK 1000!!! Some huge heavy boxes!
Thats just sick, a glass thing with the crane inside! (no idea what they are called...not even in my own language )
THE CRANE!!! THE BOOM!!! A little belly rubbing...uuhh, are you a sweet little crane, are you? rub rub rub. Uhmm, erecti...the crane stands tall! BROKEN PARTS!!! Temporary position, untill i get some cnc cuttet parts I am very heppy about this crane...shame with the broken parts tho, but those boom lock things are totally crap anyway, i wouldnt trust em on the long run, so i want some 45 mm x 2,2 mm pins to lock it in place instead. Cya around

The outriggers look very sturdy,are those threaded,like a bolt?Never seen the underneath.

Yes, they are pins, and they where NOT easy to put in the holes, because of the paint, i had to use force to press the outriggers in place to allign the holes, aarrgg that last 0,5 mm was annoying.

It’s a beautiful model and I also waited several years for them.
Boom pin brackets are fragile but at least the part that breaks off isn’t a load bearing part. I just fixed mine back in place and it’s been fully boomed up for 3-4 years now.
Enjoy the model!

Hi again, ok, time went pretyt fast this time, didnt remeber it as 8 month since ive uploaded the AMK 1000 :D But i got the parts i needed for locking the boom, so its now rdy for some heavy lifting.
