Those D series have the best cabs on the market! I had the pleasure of sitting in and having a look round a EC250D an EC140D at hillhead in June! I'm deffinately going to try and persuade my boss to try them when my machines up for renewal

Volvo certainly knows how to make a good machine, though I have not had a chance to try sitting in the new cabs, but they look very nice.
Good luck on persuading your boss, these Volvo's have a hefty price tag!

Unless they have gone up significantly in the past three years, the excavators used to be the lowest priced on the market for a decent machine. when my previous employer bought new machines, their primary justification to go with Volvo after running exclusively Komatsu for 20 years was that they were able to get (3) Volvo 460's for the same price as (2) Komatsu PC400's Price tag aside, when equipped properly, they do make for a damn fine machine.
