Does anyone know if it will be visiable from the road? I live in Grand Rapids, MI and would make trip on a weekend if its visiable.

once the boom is in the air you'll for sure be able to see that, but depending on where's it's setup you might not be able to see much more than that, the refinery is very big, and they are very strict on how close you can get, they also have some tall fences, but from what I remember you can see through them

The 13000 is just ridiculous. It's so damn big it is just hard to imagine it's size by looking at pictures.

Shes a hoss alright. Quoted from the post on CONEXPO-CON/AGG's Facebook wall. "During a June product demonstration in Germany, Liebherr Construction used the massive LR 13000 crawler crane to lift three oth er cranes (totaling 1,430 tonnes). The demonstration began with Liebherr’s smallest crane, the 62 tonne LR 1100, lifting a toy train. The LR 1100 was then lifted by the 288 tonne LR1350, which was then lifted by the 1,080 tonne LR11350 which was then lifted by the LR 13000. via Laughing Squid"  -Ryan

the only reason i brought it up is there seems to be a line up of rt's in the background of the multi crane lift. Dewoc i will start a new topic next time so as not to interfere with the continuum.
