Hi guys, I am new to this forum so go easy on meTeeth I was just wondering if anybody knows a good way to make a cab guard for an excavator without taking using one from another model? I want to put on my PC1100-6 avance.

Thanks guys,
Connor

I know FiatallisHD41 made some a few months ago, maybe he'll chime in and put up his pics again or even a link to his thread he had.

He has a PC1100 also (well actually 2) and he made guards for them.

Edit:

Try this link http://forums.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=132191 It's for FiatAllisHD41's cab guards.

Thank you Dain. Glad someone has my back. Welcome to the forum Connor.

If you use a magnet the whole time it makes for easier work making cab guards, at least if you use steel wire.

You may laugh but I made one out of a old hair comb. Cut it out and up a bit, painted it black, glued it on and I think it's pretty good. Put it on my 323DL

Coffee, diesel fumes, and a little dust. No better way to start your day!!!
