I'm surprised with all the Poclain enthusiasts that this post didn't receive a reply.

Since I originally posted this, I've noticed three other pieces. The sellers are in Italy and have not responded about who the manufacturer is. Here are the other three I've run across;

Unfortunately; these pieces don't look nearly as nice as the 90P. Somebody has to know who is producing them, and I hope they will reply to this post.

It would be nice if your pictures included the whole box.

Highly doubt they're Shovelman's, usually his watermark is somewhere on them. These are probably off the auction.

These models look to be part of a series of 1:87th scale models included with the magazine Machine movimento terra. The publisher is an Italian company, Hobby & Work Publishing S.r.l and they have planned a series of 30+ issues depicting a specific machine, each including a 1:87th scale model. This series includes the three Tesmec models

Yes it is N° 34.
This is a reprint collection (the 4th, the first one started in the 2007).

Thanks for all the replies this time around!

EricMotsinger,

Can you post a photo or two of your E485? It seems that the construction and quality of these pieces vary by quite a bit and there are very few photos on the website for reference.

Titan1,

As previously noted; the photos are from the auction listings and not mine. BTW; how is your model AP project coming along? PM me?

chessiegp39,

Just go to www.ebay.it and search "Poclain".

Fabio,

Thanks for your post! I have contacted them and hopefully I can purchase some of them. Is it a magazine or a brochure that comes with the model? I have seen something similar in Germany for fire apparatus.

I heard back from the company today and they will not sell these outside of Italy. I'd like to see photos of more of the series if anyone has them.

It's typical partworks: there are a combination of an editorial product and consumer goods, contain both a booklet/brochure and objects/gadget/parts of building kit.
Is it possible to build up a full collection or kit , step by step (more or less once every two week). Partworks are marketed are selled in a bookstall or through subscriptions You could receive it at Your home by post service.

"macchine movimento terra" is a collection provide 30 files (1 file every 14 days) and it's possible to extend to 15 files (it's dipendsby the request).
Every file cost € 12,99 (the first one is € 6,99, the second one is € 9,99); the covers costs € 4,99/each.

It's a very interesting series and marketing combination that sadly isn't available here. There is also a series similar to this in Poland with "1:64" models.

Thanks for the information!
