The main scales are (diecast models): 1:43 1:50 1:64 (Usa) Some manufactures make models in an unusual scale: Actros Mp3 1:18 Eligor    http://www.freewebs.com/mercedesbenz1-18/2009actrosiaa.htmIveco Stralis I Eligor 1:24  Renault trucks:  1:24 Scale is suitable about plastic Kit In my opinion, sometime You "have to" buy a model in different scale, because there isn't in a standard scale, if you like it. And don't forget the 1:87 scale.
