Hi all if any body can share some info of the model thanks in advance. Any pics will be cool too. 1-is it just the main boom wih the wind mill tip. 2-does it comes with a derrik boom and the counter weight tray. Or is just the main boom. Thanks SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING. http://s1185.photobucket.com/home/vipyfz2008/indexhttp://www.youtube.com/user/vipyfz?feature=mheeluis.

Erm, we're talking about the SLH configuration which is the same whether it is LR or LG. Boom length, weight of lift etc... will determine the amount of weights. The Grohmann you have also includes Derrick and a floating ballast tray so of course will have more weight, but if these are used it is no longer SLH.

SLH version is cheaper but missing so much stuffs. Pass for me.
I got the LR 1750 as well as the windmill tip already so if i were gonna get an LG 1750, it has to be the full ver.
Sadly the underside of this model has a remarkable lack of details.
Guess the only thing going for it is its a BIG model of a BIG crane.

LG 1750 Comes with Luffer and Derrick (ex. Sarens, Dufour)
LG 1750 SLH no Luffer or Derrick. just windmill boom (ex. Neeb & Schuch)
LG 1750 SL7DHS comes with Derrick and windmill boom, no luffer (ex. Grohmann, Maxicraft)
I was going to buy the Neeb Lg 1750 recently and found out it was just the SLH and I won't pay that amount of money for no Derrick or Luffer.
A Millwright..... in Alberta.

NEEB LG is only SLH but also fairly rare, hence the price tag. Thankfully I did get one at a good price.
I love the LG1750’s. They’re even better when YCC detailing is added! Sold a few over the years (it’s been 8 years since this thread was started so surprising to see it brought back), but I still have 4-5 of them. Some have recently had an upgrade in terms of new exhaust, electric boxes and mirrors.

Yeah, i almost bought the wrong version ...lol.... It just sucks that this model costs so much and there is so much detail lacking. Esp the underside of the model. Guess i am spoiled by all the WSI and later NZG and imc...lol...

I never turn mine upside down so underneath detail is not such an issue for me. Paul R
