Pretty neat trailer, I wouldn't mind trying to build one whenever I can afford a mobile crane. That's for sharing.

Here is a picture of the boom trailer as All Crane was assembling the GMK 7550.

Does the telescope push the boom in place?

Yes. The boom tip is pinned to the trailer, the boom trolley lifts the boom off its cradle and the operator telescopes the boom into the crane. A very well engineered and smooth operatation

Wow!! I know these cranes are built to carry their boom themselves in Europe, but this boom launch trailer is very cool!! Almosts makes me wish they would modify the rules here so we can see this kind of cool equipment here too!! Very smart move telescoping the boom so it can be connected to the crane.

Is there a size for the cranes from where the boom launch trailers are used? Might be interesting to built for the new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 from WSI.

The first trailer puts the boom in and out with out telescoping the boom, its a nelson style trailer that doesn't use the crane hydraulics at all. The second is a Talbert knock off built in All's shop. It uses the cranes scope function and the tractors hydraulics to lift the boom carriage. Here the same trailer except it's three feet shorter set up for a 300/350.

ive never seen one actually be used but have seen the trailer with a boom on it, in amquips yard, but around here, they just set the boom on a stepdeck trailer and use the assist crane (if its getting a luffer) and just lift the boom in place.

The 11200 is a total different animal. It has a jacking system to self assemble. Plus I think in the US the take the inner sections out to lighten it up.

@allisoes...
Great to see one of ALL's boom launch trailers close up! And I like that old james jack rig too! Didn't someone on here do a James Jack repaint?
