ANNOUNCEMENT! Caterpillar 225 [Dan Models 1:50]

Dan Models from Roemenia, former known as Miniatur-Models.com, has announced to release in 2016 a new unique resin scale model in 1:50th scale

Caterpillar 225 Hydraulic Excavator (1e version)

The Caterpillar 225 Hydraulic Excavator will be introduced coming saturday, March 19th 2016, during the Modelshow Europe 2016 held in Ede, The Netherlands. Updates, photos, dimensional details, price, numbers and the delivery schedule date will be posted on our Website when available. This next knock out model will be available in very limited numbers and made only on request for the collectors.

With the custom scale model of the Caterpillar 225 Hydraulic Excavator in 1:50th finally after waiting for many years a big hole in my showcase will be filled in. Next to the Caterpillar 215 (NZG), Caterpillar 235 (Winross) and Caterpillar 245 (NZG and CCM) is the line up of the first series and already classics of Caterpillar Hydraulic Excavators a bit more complete.

Beware: HUGE news will follow. But more on that later. At this moment I only can reveal that 2016 will be a year full of surprises!!!

If you are interested in this built scale model it is important to respond with your (pre)order by e-mail to miniaturmodels@yahoo.com. Only then you can be assured that the model is also produced effectively for you.

SUPERB!

I am looking forward to seeing pictures from the show, Sadly, I will be unable to attend, for the 20th consecutive year...

I do hope Dan Models will offer this 225 with a 1 piece boom for the U.S. collectors. though the two piece seems to be the standard for Europe, they are few and far between here.

UPDATE! Modelshow Europe 2016

Ad Gevers showed us this year, three unique projects: His Caterpillar D9R DOOBI Track-Type Tractor which he built based on the kit in scale 1:48 of CypModels and his Caterpillar D8T Track-Type Tractor with WDA CARON DSU dozerblade & CARON SWS Tracks in 1:50 on the basis of the Norscot D8T and three exclusive kits.

And as the biggest surprise he brought along the scale model of the Caterpillar 836G CARON Compactor exclusively in this design which as a promotional gift has been built in a very limited number for the Caron Compactor Company from America and never was available for sale.

Curious? Check out the new added pictures in the album Modelshow Europe 2016

Gertjan brought this year a number of unique custom-built Caterpillar models along to the Modelshow Europe in 2016.
Special is that Gertjan also every year sees an opportunity to make its models even more come into their own on the mini dioramas which he presents his models.

HIGRO is Dutch and stands for HIstorisch GROndverzet which can be translated to "Historical Earthmoving" and is a anually held Event in Bant (Noord-Oostpolder), The Netherlands.

It is a unique Event of historical earthmoving equipment. You can not only see classic and oldtimer earthmoving machinery up close but actually watch them while in action!
This year there will once again present the necessary Caterpillar machines. Your chance to shoot great action shots.

This year the Event is held at 5, 6 and 7 may 2016. The location: Zandexploitatie "Schoterveld". The adress: Schoterpad, Bant (A6 exit 15 Emmeloord), The Netherlands.

More information? Look at HIGRO 2016
