Hi Arnold, Great your trailer!!! but it's something who disturbs me concerning the side wheels supporting the load. Are you sure of you, is it the good build ? May be it's not a mistake; I don't know this trailer. Somebody know on the forum the original system ??? Cheers Pat

Hi samf , it seems france has a high amount of quality model builders guym ptaxgo yourself and a few other guys i have seen over the years, i was looking at pictures of this massive trailer in a book i have and yours seem to be spot on fantastic work, could you tell me a little more about the renault magnum cab is it a smith cab? or is it a joal with an extra axel? the reason im asking is i have a few of these joal cab or tractor units and would like to add an extra axel, also your nicolas tank transporter type trailer i have 2 of these asam in kit form never got around to building them ,from your pics gives me some good ideas. goodluck gus.

Hi GusO The Tractomas I build are Asam Kits and Dan Miniature Models of Romania, these are resin, and the kit is much less than Asam picèces.I also build Nicolas trailer for Rotran convoys. The 6x4 truck Renault Magnum AE, it's Joal, take a frame of 6x4 Volvo and modify the front of the chassis, and adjust the AE cab.On the frame of AE can be adapted a cabin Kérax Joal. Pat
