About twenty minutes after our new Peterbilt was delivered a customer needed a cat 330B with a grapple moved to Lido Beach to load out storm debris. So this is the first load for the new Pete.

The next day it went to Mac Trailer in Ohio to pick up a "new" used end dump trailer.

That's the '07 5900i pulling the Mac hauling debris in Long Beach.
The day after getting back from Ohio it took a 345C out of Manhattan on an emergency disaster relief move to the South Shore of Long Island.

Than a load of 5 foot jetty rock from Orange County to Brooklyn.

Than out to Michigan Cat in Novi, Michigan for "super load" back to the Bronx

I love all your trucks; they're all really sharp. I'll come drive for you, you don't even have to pay me! haha

I'm curious, on the CT660, you have no lift axle but on all your other trucks (that I noticed anyways) you have one. Why is that one setup differently?

Very nice equipment. It would be a pleasure to drive equipment like that. I spent many years in six axle Stering dumps. Very well maintained, but the worst trucks I ever rode in. Quick question about the Pete tractor, is the drop axle steerable? In the pics of it pulling the hoe, it does not appear to steer. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year

Awesome pictures, as always! Seen a picture of one of your 5900i's next to Murray's T800 rolloff, I think in Long beach.

Yes the lift axle is steerable, for some reason he lifted it around the turn. Probably a force of habit because our non steerable lift axles push the tractor through tight turns. The tractor is still a work in progress. We had to rush it onto the road because the '09 5900i blew a motor. We still have to install diamond plate fenders, and a cabinet behind the cab. And we are waiting for the elbows and piping to connect the drivers side stack. Its amazing how different the dual stacks make the truck look. I'm not going to lie I was really disappointed when the truck got delivered with a single exhaust. One of my drivers said it best," Its UnAmerican to have a Peterbilt with one stack." Teeth

Dan,
This Pete is actually the first four axle truck I have owned. My father has a 2005 W900B with a lift axle and His new titan has one too. But the CT660 and all my 5900I's except the '09 are speced the same. 210" wb, 13,200 front axle 46,000 rears on hendrickson air ride. (CT660 has PriMax) The 5900i's have Cummins ISX 475's turned up to 550 and the CT660 has a CT13(MaxxForce13) 475.
The '09 is a ISX 600 with 14,600 front, 52,000 rears on Chalmers suspension with 12r24.5 rubber.
The Pete is a ISX 600 with 20k front, 20k pusher, 52k rears on New way air ride 18 spd, with a 2 speed auxiliary transmission and 315 rubber on every axle.
Zack,
Just a quick ride to Michigan for a 308!!!
Jesse,
Thanks!!!!!

Just saw one of your 5900's on I691 in Meriden CT this morning, looked great! Hopefully you will have some pics of whatever it's hauling for us!
