The coldmilling machines. Currently just three models in my collection, all Wirtgen: W 100 F (NZG), the W 50 DC (Kaster) and the W 35 DC (NZG). The Wirtgen W 210 from Siku will be added shortly. Just the W 35 DC. And with a Liebherr engineer.

Nice collection Remko but I think you made a mistake on the rollers. The Hamm GRW 280 is from NZG not WSI. we (other half and I) have that model and it is an NZG model. She has the one with the enclosed cab and I have the open cab and I love it. Also like the HD+ 110 from WSI too as we both have that one too!!
I also have the W100 F as well and am looking forward to the W35 DC as well!! Does it come with only one milling drum or a couple others like the W100 does??

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

You're right Dain, the GRW 280 is indeed from NZG. My bad. The W 35 DC comes with only one milling drum. And it's tiny!!! About 5 mm wide and just under 10 mm long.

That's OK Remko, not a problem as I was just pointing it out so you wouldn't get a whole bunch of stuff over it.
I still think the W35 looks great and would be sweet set up on a large milling project to get along a curb or manhole.
I also am now in love with the WR240!!! I showed the other half the pictures and she like it too. I also went to the Wirtgen site and showed her the real machine!!!!
Can't wait till they come out here in the US now!!!!!

Well, one of the very nice things about the WR 240 is that NZG has included a DVD-ROM with the brochure of the real deal! They already had printed brochures with some of the models, but the DVD is a first! Nice touch. I'm still hoping Wirtgen will commisssion a really big miller like the W 220 or the W 250. I'd also like to see a large profiler, preferably a SP 1500 or SP 1600. And of course a large surface miner like the 4200 SM would be fantastic as well!! I'm still thinking about building a machine like the Heilit + Woerner Sennebogen SR 25 T. The English text can be donwloaded here

My town was named "Bicycle city of 2008", because they were most cyclist friendly. Well, my personal opinion is slightly different... But, this would make a perfect cyclist road set up! Wirtgen W 35 DC milling machine, Vögele Super 800 paver and Hamm HD 12 VV roller. And the Vögele Super 800 solo. Slightly larger... The Vögele Super 1900 from Siku. Still a very nice toy/model, and a second is underway.
