Hi all, as soon as I seen this model I had to get it even though I knew it would be bad, but not this bad. The reason I bought it is for a repaint and I like fixing and improving the parts.

Here's a list of problems
*The front cab is loose and wobbles around moving the front part of chassis and wheels
*Can't adjust height of outriggers and pad is molded into base plate
*The upper structure is loose on the slew ring and moves around
*The ram's will not hold up the jib at all and there is no way of locking it into position
*Those cable braces that connect to the y arms (like on the 11200) are different lengths
*The counterweight tray slides onto 2 brackets underneath and if you bumped it, it will fall off
*The counter weights are good but sitting them on the tray as uncovered another problem. One side is fine but the side with the pin that operates the winch is in the way and you can't sit the weights on and at this stage I can't move it.
*The pedant lines for the luffer are the worst I've seen on any model. Not only are some broken straight out of the box, they are really weak and I would not trust them at all so I'll get some ycc one's and modify to fit.
*The paint is terrible including run's, overspray and even no paint at all in places.

For me I love this crane, it does have some good detail and it's big almost towering over the 11200 plus I get to fix the problem'sTeeth. But if you don't have the tool's or know how to fix them, I would think twice before buying it. Is it worth the money? Probably not you could buy a ltm 1800 for the same money.
Any question's please ask, sorry for the crap pic's if I post more I'll do better.

LOL, they do look very bad, they just loook like a piece of plastic? are they that plain?

Can you fix em?

What is ram's? sorry to ask :P

Anyway, congrats with that model, i for sure still want to get one if those few things can be fairly easy fixed.
In what colors are you going to paint it?

It is an interesting Concept for a Crane. LG1750 Base with LTM11200/LTR11200 Upper

wonder if Liebherr are all going "Why didn't we think of that"

i mean i fully expected this model to not be great quality, but it does look like an interesting model/concept, i would be interested in owning one myself, i would hope for less problems though

i would really like to see more pictures with the boom extended and with the luffing jib on as well

Myggen the outriggers I am thinking I will machine up a nut to fit inside and make a new piece like on the 11200 to screw into it. The cable brace( I will post up pic's soon) I've fixed already by punching out the pin's and cutting the plastic to length and putting the pin's back in,all you need is a pin punch or a really small nail to get the pin's out. Also the ram's,sorry I meant the hydraulic cylinder that holds the jib/boom up.The color Im not 100% sure but maybe something I would do if it was my own crane company.
Cheer's

Yeh Dewoc I would still get one and hope for the best. I will post up pic's soon but without luffer as the pendants are broken and non repairable.
