From Vertikal Genie has announced the release of its first ever die-cast scale model of an aerial lift. The new model, which is likely to be the first of several models is of the Z135/70 boom lift in 1/50th scale. The new model is likely to be short lived and a limited edition, given that the real Z135 has been replaced by the ZX-135/70 It's nice to see a new model of a aerial lift since theres not to many of them around. I can't 100% confirm that it is 1:50, But since it's coming from a reliable source i'm more likely to believe it. I wonder if they went with a notable manufacturer or commissioned the model direct from a factory.

I've spent more time than I would ever care to in one of these with a Parker saw and a chipping hammer. Even so I'd like to have one in 1:50 keep us posted as you learn more details.

It is available here. At 65 bucks, it seems like a good deal, so I'm going to go for it. I have no idea who the manufacturer is so the quality is up in the air

My dad was picking up some equipment at united rentals and they had that with a case excavator and truck and trailer all together. It was there last one and he picked it up for him self. pretty neat little package.

They are not, in fact, 1/50. I sent an email to the store and this was the reply: Hello Adam,
Thank you for contacting the Genie eStore and bringing this to our attention. The die-cast models are 1:34 scale. We have updated the description with this information. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you, Jason Estore staff
Probably gonna buy it anyway. For $50 you can't go wrong

That stinks that's it not 1/50. Terex is way overdo to make a 1/50 scale genie lift. I am crossing my fingers for a S65 or S85.
