Any idea on the maker ? Taylor maybe ? Started my heavy equipment career as a youngster on forklifts. From Komatsu doubles,Hyster,Silent Hoist,Taylor,Caterpillar,Royal 80,000 LBS for Alcan ingots,Clark,Allis Chambers {had six old school Allis doubles for beer bottle pallets},Tow motor, and an ancient Clark from the 40's.
They were fun to operate had many hours of safe operation. Thanks for sharing and wouldn't that be a nice 1/50 scale forklift model.

Taylor is the same company that mfg the MRS Tractors used in construction work in the fifties. I think they were called Mississippi Mules. I worked for a big const. by the name of J.A. Jones out of North Carolina that used them to pull scrapers. They were real beasts. Taylor also makes the straddle cranes that are used to unload container from rail cars.
