Hi guys,
My name is Erik and i live in The Netherlands. As Eef allready mentioned i am a American Hoist nut... Posted are some pics from my 5299 model scale 1:10th configured as a piledriver. This is a typical Dutch set up of a piledriver in the 70 and 80's By that time American was the most used crane in Holland I want to build a working Delmag D30,thats a challenge i think. The crane is build out of steel and weight about 50kg. Its fully functional by remote. It took my a lot of sweat building this model but i did it with much joy and pleasure! A special thank goes to Eef for his advise and humor during the construction of this model. I hope you guys like it.
Stay tuned for more!
Best regards,Erik.
Thanks for watching, hope you like it.
Regards,Erik.
Thanks for the nice reactions, means a lot!

Erik, Wow, really a great model, and at a litlle over 110 U.S. lbs, very heavy. What made you choose a 1:10 scale? This is not your first model build! DanileD

Beautiful workmanship! On the electric side, how many motors did you use and what voltage are you using? do you control it with a connected cable, bluetooth or RF?
