Sorry to hear that. Have to say it does not seem the norm for this model as I have spoken to some who have received them already are very happy - no bits falling off or bad mouldings etc... Seemed to be an improvement over the 1350 for sure.

Hoping mine gets here (in one piece!) in the next couple of weeks or so.

Great photos Rick! Can't wait to get mine but I think I have to wait a some more weeks yet!

Regarding the 1350 - did I see somewhere that you altered the Y pendants so they were correct length?

Great photo again Rick!

Off topic I know, but what are you using to take these photos in terms of lighting? I think you are bouncing the light maybe?

awesome shots rick, just wondering, are brollies/reflectors/softboxes used here? Or purely natural sunlight?

Recieved my 500 yesterday and thankfully no damage. Although the jib is plastic it looks really good im impressed. I can honestly say good model.

Hi Guys,

Just like to correct Campbell, the boom/jib is not plastic it is extruded aluminum, I can see why such a mistake can be made due to the lightness and the thin wall of the boom, but it is aluminum would not like to put anyone off from buying this model, an excellent model and thankfully no damage on mine.

Steve.
