I respect your patriotism, but am puzzled that you don't know how to display them correctly in these photos?

It's not my fault that Milton puts them on wrong. Displaying an actual flag is different than putting a flag on something, so click on the link I put up and learn.

It is the correct way to display the flag when putting it on a vehicle, machine, etc. The stars always lead the way. http://www.marlowwhite.com/faq/f-why-is-the-flag-patch-reversed.html

Mike..if I may make a suggestion...when using decals it is best to use a decal set solution to allow the decals to conform to the shape of the surface they are placed on, it gives a better display of realism to the model. They do look good even from an Aussies point of view.

According to what I have Googled, on the right shoulder (side) the Union (stars) should be displayed to the viewer right. So they are correct. It also said though that decals and magnet are not considered flags and are to be treated as decorations/artwork and are not governed by proper flag displaying rules. If you think about it, if there were an actual flag flying on a staff above the machine, thats how it would look.

Looks good Mike, it look realistic especially on the equipment because my local Cat dealer does the same thing as you do too. It's not as big as yours, but they do put it somewheres on the machine, try to find a pic if I can.

Thanks guys. I also appreciate the constructive criticism/tips.
GC1: Thanks. I might try the heat gun method, it should conform to the bends.
Mike: I'd love to see some photos

It's No wheres near the size of yours, but they do place most of them on the cab door (or under it). They also do it for the dozers, and loaders too near the cab. One on a 320CL

One on a 320CL G&R I'm guessing? They have it on pretty much all their equipment that they sell, rent, etc. Where I work we also do the same...
