On behalf of footloose52:-
"Howdy folks, I had a parcel day on Friday where I received a couple of models from Richard Fowler. This one is a Norscot 1:50 scale CAT D11T customised from the usual Norscot model into something very unique and perfect in every way. It has been done in the full Aussie mine spec’d Leighton livery. Hope you enjoy the photos"

"Thanks for taking the time to look at what Richard can do.
Regards from down under"
Peter

That is an amazing model with very detailed walkways. I particularly like the Cat dealership logo on the top of the cab, it's a very nice touch. As well, the hydraulic piping adds a whole new element of realism. I'm very happy to see Tonkin applying that level of detail to their line of Cat models.

Great looking custom!

This model was made by Norscot and then customized, Tonkin had nothing to do with either step.

I was pointing out that Tonkin is now applying details such as hydraulic lines to their upcoming model line up. It will be nice to see a more detailed base model so that people undertaking customizations will have a little less work to do.

Detailing when done right sure adds a lot to these models. It looks great!

Nice custom job for sure.

The model is an 11T #GEB.

The unit pictured with forward facing stacks is an 11T #JEL.
