As you can see, I post here very little. I usually click on to the forum every day just to see what's going on and read everyone's posts (at least the ones that interest me).

This is more of a tip-o-the-hat to DHS than anything else. I just received the new CCM 637E scraper. I was getting nervous when I saw that it was listed on the DHS website and then, a short time later, disappeared. Come to find out, the 637E has already sold out! Wow, that was quick.

The model, quite frankly, is superb. I'm sure the CAT purists can find fault with the model and that's OK. For me, it displays well and looks great. I've always been a big fan of CAT scrapers, so this is a nice addition to my modest collection. It is my first CCM model, and I'm sure I'll be getting more down the road.

That said, what a great team of folks at DHS. Great e-mails to let me know what was going on. On top of that, FedEx next day service to my door. You can't ask for much more than that.

So, for any of you that are waiting for your own 637E, you won't have to wait much longer. I hope you're as happy with yours as I am with mine. Again, many thanks to the DHS team. Applause

Just got my (2) 637E's, (1) 631E and (1) D9L with Impact Ripper and (1) D9L with Push Block. They are the most beautiful machines that I have in my collection now and I wanted to shout out to DHS and CCM for distributing and producing these fine models. Can't wait to see what CCM is cooking up next !!!!

I would also like to stop for a minute and thank everyone who POSITIVELY contributes to this hobby and makes it what it is. I feel a special "thank you" is in order to DHS for providing a place where we can all share our passions and another to CCM for making such high quality models. I absolutely love my new scrapers and dozers.
So…THANK YOU!!! to all whom keep this hobby positive.
Sincerely,
-SS

Thank you all for the complements! I feel very lucky to have these models.
Wanted to share a couple more pictures of the 631 on the lowboy trailer, I just love how this looks and how it fills up the whole trailer.
Sincerely,
-SS

I too recieved my 2 637's and D9 on Thursday and all I can say is wow!! I'm a big scraper fan,my favourite machine by far and these offerings from CCM are unbelieveable!! Pricing of CCM models on this side of the pond is quite steep though, such crisp detailing, paint and decaling.

I would urge CCM to contemplate another scraper project, new or old as these seemed to sell out in little time,in a time when money is not as plentifull.

Again as mentioned above and rightly deserved a huge thanks to CCM for bringing us these marvellous items of machines gone,

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Goes to show how important model choice is from a manufacturers point of view, pick a good one and it sells out, pick a bad one and it sits in stock. That said CCM have the right people like Eric Orlemann on there team coming up with proposals and the like and so far so good i would say on the 1/48 diecast series of Cats. I have no doubt more scrapers will be in the offering down the track based on the level of interest shown so far but again choosing the right model so as to not saturate the market is key.

Good friend Richard Fowler did a 660 conversion for me from a McCoy CCM 666 and it was not too big of a job to do the changes so potentially that may be another for CCM to have a look at some time.

Just want to chime in and say that I agree with all that was said above. CCM have knocked this last outing of the 637E's and D9L's out of the park.
I love my new D9L's, both versions and my two 637E's. I personally think that these are the best of all the CCM CAT offering's.
I thought the D10's where awesome and D9H's also (even with the factory issue's).. That being said, the D9L's are another notch above them..
I am looking fwd. to the 777 and 776, 983B's.. and 16M...
Hopefully CCM will make some more Dozers, my personal favorite models to collect.
Big thanks again to DHS and there staff..

Hello guys,

We appreciate the good thoughts and all the thanks. The manufacturing is the hard part these days - so kudos goes to CCM for producing a fine series of models!

But I wanted to chime in and let you know we are listening here - have a great turkey day (in the USA)!
