If there smart, and these pieces go well...They should go after the Manitowoc license and do the 2250 to start. Maybe even picking up the 31000.

Brandon, for sure on the 2250. Even though CCM did the M-250, only 300 were made and the price is high.
It would make good sense to make a 2250, 2900WC, 2900T, 3000W, 3900W, 3950 and 4000W. I really believe there would be more interest in these older machines than there would be for the newer ones (triple series).

i totally agree. if they made a 2900wc or 2900t 3900t i would not even think twice. i would also not hesitate on a 2250 or 888 999, even to a certain extent the 777t would be kind of cool because they were somewhat unique machines. but its tough to say what they would do. based on what i have read on this site over the last 3 or 4 years i would think that the 2250 would be a home run. i will say that the 2900 was probably the most used crane in the greater cleveland area until early 2000's. then the 222's and others came in and phased them out. i know in the mid 90's kelly had three 2900wc's midwest had one and two 2900t's All had several of both, general had one of each rulin had a couple great lakes construction had two crawlers norris brothers had a truck crane, and where i worked had 3 2900 t's and a wc. im sure i am forgetting a few, meredith erectors in akron had a truck crane i think but i dont remember. thats just cleveland.

The hitachi crawler crane is screaming for some red link belt weights, and a couple decals. Oh and way more boom.

Would love to purchase all 3 Link-Belt models, but with having a 2nd child now (he's 2 months old), day care expenses for both kids plus school, I have to cut way back on my purchases and possibly none at all. Maybe I can ask my wife to get it for my Birthday or possibly Christmas 2014? Fat chanceā€¦.Sad
