It is high time that I start one topic d+++++ed to this. I will add some about the diorama as I go along. These photos are from EFC's big dirt job this summer. Were were cutting down this hillside for new highway lanes. We had to undercut the area a lot because of the extremely poor quality soil on this job. Typical for the 350 L. She has a lot of hours on her. This clown sized bucket is not helping

With the 350 L down we had to load the trucks DDnB style. Operator showing off how inefficient he can be by trying to push and rip out rocks uphill.

Great job, but don't let Jason and the Burnt one fool ya, that really is one of many text book ways to load a truck with a dozer. They may just be the first since YouTube to actually try it, haha

Little teaser of the new project EFC is on. For more photos visit my Facebook page, the link is at the bottom in my signature. This is a road improvement project, allegedly. You tell me if this is a road... Temporary entrance, spreading #2's with the new S750 Bringing in one of my favorites, the 953. Hope DOT does not mind the new corrugations we put in the road

Fortunately for EFC we have not had too many run-ins with ULF crews. The same can't be said for one of our competitors on a nearby job, looks like a ULF employee hit the mother of all gas mains.

I remember working in KC, MO. We saw that the Gas main locates and started digging up. Turns out it was a little more than just a gas main. It ends up being a 30" natural gas pipeline. Later that day a fire marshal from the gas company company shows up raising hell about not calling them. Saying we could have blown up the city. Well the reason dug it up and dug up by hand was so we wouldn't blow up the city. Gas Company logic. I guess that's what the fire marshal was worried about lol.
