More fantastic work, I love it! Great job Andre, thanks for sharing! I wish First Gear would step up to the plate and do a run of something similar. MikesModels2011 on FacebookMikesModels2011 on YouTubeMikes Model Reviews ThreadMack Granite Project Thread

Nice job! I like the steel wheels, no need for aluminum on a ready mix truck, they only get dirty.

The first gear granites look a lot bigger than the sword version.. To me.. Or is it because it's a newer style?

[quote=towoc999]Took a 1st gear Mack Granite canibalized it to bear metal than paint and put a Conrad mixer on it , I done the mixer upper cage myself . nothing too fancy but pretty cool to have a Granite in the fleet . My fleet is red framed and orange cabs ( 90% of them ) . Man, you'll need some decals of Beton Provincial since your cab has the right color: Beton Provincial FreightlinerLogoLet me know if you want some; I'll put them in the mail for you for free. Easy job, just PM me with the required dimensions for the mixer and cab doors. Stephane

Just a guess randy but there was a first gear mack that came with white wheels like that. I believe the Iowa lowboy set maybe?

Chuck will all do respect your a tad bit bias ! only kidding , lol cause you sell it, me I had the joy of canibalizing it , and then render it to a very presentable model ,and yes I do agree that your mixer looks better than the Conrads,
