Hi Guys,

As things have been quiet of late I thought I would use my time by making some form of vessel or column for lifting, so I came up with this column it is of no particular design of any its all my own imagineering, most of the parts used were scrap pieces laying around my workshop, the main body of the column was from an old telescope I found in a skip, it was well beaten up lots of dents in, but did manage to salvage enough to make the column, as you will see it is in 3 pieces the top dome is a wooden ball that I had, just cut in half and placed in the end then filled with milliput filler. Overall I am pleased with the end result and makes for an interesting load.

Hope you enjoy

Pretty good for "scraps" and I had to chuckle when I saw that the main section was from an old telescope!.

I love seeing this kind of thing Smile

Nice bit of "scratchbuilt" work. The columns always make good loads / lifts... Applause

Very nice! The detail kits/walkways make the 1750 really pop!

Nice build birdman. Like the series of lift pics, looks like it was a flawless lift!

Wow, quite a original end for that telescope tube. A vessel is among one of my future projects. Now I have to make friends with the local astronomy club ... Think
