I don't want to highjack Dex's post on the D350D but I just got done with my D350E project and decided to share. It still needs some lights on the front, looks like a trip to the local fabric store is in order. There are a lot of differences between the "D" model and "E" model. Let's get started. One clapped out Ertl model, Check. Heavy bed modifications, Check. No external ribs on the E series.

That looks great! How did you remove the ribs?
I've got to start messing around with brass.

Quote:That looks great! How did you remove the ribs? I just took the dump box to the bench grinder and took them off. It loaded the grinding wheel,so you will need to redress the wheel when you are done. Then I covered whatever was left with some brass sheeting.

Dex wrote:Not bad dude! What printer do you use for your decals? I used a generic canon inkjet printer. I printed using Testors decal paper system. The most important thing with these decals is to keep the printer settings for standard office paper. Then I clear coated the decals to prevent any pealing.
