I cant say with 100% certainty but im pretty positive that when I was coming home from work today driving past the BP Amaco refinery in Whiting, IN theres a large TC Versa Crane set up on Indianapolis Blvd. Thing is huge with every part reeved on the hook, it looked like the pedestal parts were visible driving by and the color was what looked like a deep purple with yellow which is their colors

just a heads up if anybody wants to check it out, tough to get good pics of it cause of the wall, but its fairly visible

Is this the same place that had the LR13000 and the PTC?

The crane is in Westdorpe/Netherlands at the moment and coming/going to Germany in two weeks for his next job!

Well a few days ago i was finally able to get back to the BP Whiting plant in Whiting, IN in hopes of getting some photos of the Deep South Versa Crane, i did get some photos but unfortunately i was a little to late for the good stuff as it was already mostly taken down. I thought this crane was going to be setup for quite a while longer as most large cranes spend substantial time there but im not sure how long it was there prior to me taking these photos. I cant say what model Versa Crane this is but it was HUGE!!! Not the best photos given that its a very restricted place to be in but at least its something

We were heading north on I-55 Thursday, and saw 2 of these boom sections headed south. I was pretty certain it was Deep South, and hadn't even seen your earlier post. I don't know if they were boom or derrick sections, but whatever they were, they were huge! Serious oversize loads, with escorts, and unfortunately, no chance to get a picture.
