Well over the passed few weeks almost all the caps have been placed in one section of the 635 upper deck where the traffic will go so crews will be able to excavate the last area for the lower deck but be for that the beams and road surface still have to go on the new caps

1500 and gmk 7550 getting ready for long night of placing caps
"/>

Truck with the cap pulling in
"/>

This shows the area that still needs to be excavated
"/>

Just for size
[/

Setting a cap
"/>

Don't know if you can see the worker on the other cap just to the right but it shows the size
"/>

Just a pic of the 1500 and the 7550 but the area that's stone still has to be excavated so still a lot of work to be done on 635

Awesome shots of the 349 & 374 excavators; the night shot of the 374 loading trailers is sweet Teeth

Looks like a fun project!

On Saturday in Dallas I saw Crocker's new GMK 7550 up close dismantling a tower crane

It had full luffing jib on it

Hard to get a full shot

This is for chopper95 and everyone I really appreciate your comments
With both these excavators all it took was 3 passes per truck

What size bucket is on that 349, must be very tipsy over the side. Surprised it takes the same number of passes for the 374 too though, cause it's not a teaspoon either. Great pics, thanks for sharing.

regards,
Jim

We'll to day north of where I live I found this 390D with an E series body working on a water main boring project. It had been digging a 40 foot deep starting hole

I finally got to see the LTM 1500 working and finally got to meet Jason (aka hummer13 )
The LTM 1500 had a 207ft luffing jib and was lifting A/C units
"/>
Jason hard at work
"/>

"/>
I was told that they only had 7 inches of clearance to slide the units in the building
"/>
It was a cold gray day
