First Gear will be making a Kenworth T880 with Century Rotator Wrecker body. Great news right? Not really, because the only way that they can be purchased is with a minimum order of 12 with your company name on them. This truck looks stunning,If they were available to the public I would buy one.

Why don't we all get together and do a group buy with no logo?

I'm not kidding. Totally serious.

yep get 12 of us and have first gear print something random in white. then it wont show up. I wouldn't be surprised if chuck buys like 24 and has them put DHS on the hood! would be a great promotional piece...Whistle

I vote we contact chuck and Roy Ferguson Sales and see if either of them would be interested. If not we will go from there with plan b.

You know what...I'll do it. If you guys will purchase some from me I will order a case.

We will all have to decide color/details/etc...

I would place order the first week of May.

Let me know what y'all want to do.

Have faith....This is only the first cat out of the bag....there will be more...this is Miller's way to get their customer's names on the hood for their companies promotion.

About $65 per piece ($767 + S&H /12)
http://www.millerind.com/extras/news/first_gear_hd_rotator.pdf
They are available with or without imprinting - minor cost difference. about $2

Chuck: I know they will be a bit more through you. Are you willing to be the broker?
Put me down for one. I have a cheap plastic wrecker and would love to upgrade.

$761.45 Shipped for 12 unmarked T880 Rotators isn't a bad deal.

I'd have no problem dropping that amount of coin for a case. However, it would be nice to know if dealers planned on doing the same thing.

Hi. I will go in with someone for one, as long as it is a generic version, meaning no company logo on the hood.

This is a truly stunning North American wrecker. I'm sure there will be quite a few of these hitting the market eventually. There might even be some whole body liveried editions in the future which would be incredible as I don't think there are many Miller Industries liveried vehicles on the road. Smiley

I'm game for 2. Looks like an outstanding piece unless Chuck announces a 379 Pete tow rig?

It's finally good to see some vocational 1/50 North American trucks, our hobby needs more of these, because the market is flooded with foreign trucks. I like it, would look very good on a Dio trying to upright a Sword Freightliner Century with a dryvan.

Hey guys,

Here's the scoop. This offer is only good if you buy a wrecker from Miller (the real thing). We will stock this item when available, but do not have a ship date as of yet.

As always, keep watching the forum and our homepage for details.
