Is that place easily accessible? I've seen pictures of it quite regularly for the past few years and it's some where I'd love to visit!

Now that's some sweet stuff!  Really like Old track loaders,wheel loaders, and especially those old dozers! That place might just be worth a trip over the pond!

Hi Joe, the airfield is privately owned but there are rights of way that pass very close to the machines. You could ask permission to have a good nosey from Mr Green at the farm. I did this many years ago, but this time decided to just pop up there quickly one morning with my camera.
There used to be much more up there including many cranes if I remember correctly.
The old Eimco loader is a nice chunk of metal. I can imagine it new and gleaming!

This is a sad day - to see so much beautiful history just rusting away is terrible. Damn wish it could be rescued and saved.

Would love to have more Clark-Michigan loaders made into models. A 275B and a 55B would make nice additions. Those crawlers look pretty interesting too.

Geez, these machines looks like ghosts. I still see some Michigan or Clark loaders in Quebec once in a while, but they are getting more and more rare.
That field is a museum on it's own.

Cat 245.....Now and Forever  I am looking for industrial auction brochures from Ritchie Bros, Miller & Miller, Forke Bros, First Team Auction, Max Rouse, etc from the 70's, 80's and 90's.I am a collector and heavy equipment enthusiast and these pamphlets are loaded with nice pictures of cleaned and freshly painted equipment.Thet don't have much value once the sale is over but they are a great help to me in preserving the memory of machines that are no longer being built.Please, help my hobby by looking in your old storage boxes and file folders for these old auction sale brochures.Your help is much appreciated.

want to see Michigan, Hough and others , take autoroute 20 east bound close to Rivière du Loup and you will see many old loader there .

That Priestman excavator's gotta be something rare!!!!!I never saw one(not even in pictures) with regular attachment on this side of the pound.....a very few times, i saw some long reach machines on RB brochures-most of the times in Texas, but never something with a regular attachment. Nice pics Jamie, I always like seeing old equipment around like this. A lot of people see it as obsolete junk but us here see it as a diamond in the rough or a gold mine.
